I’m the artist behind Raving Artist Tattoo Studio, a fine line tattoo studio that’s rooted in intention, connection, and care. I’ve been tattooing for a decade, and what continues to inspire me most is the trust that forms when someone chooses to carry a piece of art and a piece of their story on their body.

My work focuses on delicate florals and fineline designs, often inspired by nature, growth, and personal transformation. All things that are very dear to my heart. I’m drawn to tattoos that feel soft and meaningful, subtle -yet powerful. Pieces that feel like they’ve always been a part of you.

Tattooing, to me, is deeply collaborative. I believe the best tattoos come from listening closely, honoring your ideas, and creating something together that reflects who you are. Whether your tattoo represents healing, celebration, remembrance, or simply beauty for beauty’s sake, I approach every session with patience, respect, and care.

Based in Portland, Oregon, I strive to create a welcoming and affirming space for people of all identities and backgrounds. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, seen, and supported -from our first conversation and into the healing process.

I have been getting tatoos for years and after some communication issues with. Y tattoo artist I decided to change. Courtney was recommended to me from a trusted friend. I did a phone call with Courtney to discuss how communication in the design process of the tatoo is really important to me and Courtney made me feel comfortable and that I could discuss and give feedback on the design of my tattoo. Being comfortable and able to talk with your artist is very important. Courtney made me feel very comfortable and she listened.

I Gave her an overall idea of what I wanted. She did an amazing drawing and showed it to me before the appointment so I could give feedback and she was able to make the changes before my actual scheduled tatoo time. We decided the best option woild be for her to draw the design directly onto my skin instead of a stencil since it wraps around my arm. This was an amazing option as we were able to collaborate while the drawing was happing and it ended up exactly how I wanted it.

During the Tatoo Courtney is just a fun great human being and so nice to talk and laugh with. Courtney's tatoo style was very light handed and it was the least painful I have had. Courtney was very meticulous while doing the tatoo and they are a perfectionist. It turned our amazing. Courtney did not rush the process. I am so happy with choosing Courtney they do an amazing job and great communication. Also very great with sterile and sanitizing procedures. I highly recommend Courtney.

My sister and I went to Raving Artist Tattoo Studio for matching tattoos, and we had the best experience! The artist was so friendly and easy to talk to. She made us feel totally at ease right away.

Her studio is super clean and has such a cool, creative vibe. You can tell she really puts care into her space and her work. Our tattoos turned out amazing, exactly what we wanted, and everything came together so nicely. She paid attention to all the little details and made sure we were both happy with the final result.

If you're looking for a talented, passionate artist in Portland, I would 100% recommend checking this place out. I am already thinking about going back for another one when I am in Portland again!

Courtney was very professional, patient, and thorough in her methods and technique for a tattooing. I felt very comfortable and while taking care of. The tattoo is amazing and I’ll be back! You need to check out her work and let her work her magic for you too!
